We are seeking a Café/Catering Assistant at Longfellow’s Café based at Fosse Way School, a generic special school for children aged 4-19, within The Partnership Trust.
Working Hours:
- Monday, Thursday and Friday: 12:00 – 15:00
- Wednesday: 08:00 – 15:30
16 hours per week + 5 insets (Term time only)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks and food.
- Handle cash and run the register.
- Clean dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene (wash up).
- Assist with training students.
- Provide excellent customer service and work under pressure.
Requirements:
- Previous café experience preferred; full training will be provided.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary based on the pay scale; new appointments normally made at the bottom of the scale with progression dependent on length of service in line with our pay policy.
