Currently we are recruiting for Night staff only - The shift patterns are either 8pm - 8am or 10pm - 7am. At Fosse, we deeply value the incredible work of our support team. You will be joining a passionate and dedicated workforce, providing support to individuals with complex care needs, including mental health and behavioural challenges. As a Support Worker, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

Your role will include:

  • Communicating with the relevant people and following personalised care plans to ensure the specific needs of individuals with complex mental health and behavioural challenges are met
  • Providing emotional and practical support to individuals in managing their mental health
  • Assisting with activities that encourage social interaction, community access, and personal growth
  • Offering meal preparation and assistance, considering dietary needs and preferences
  • Supporting with medication management, ensuring all care protocols are followed
  • Assisting with finances and promoting independence where possible
  • Helping with mobility and moving & handling using appropriate equipment (training provided)
  • Providing personal care to promote hygiene and dignity, where necessary
  • Keeping accurate records of care provided, ensuring the needs of each individual are met
  • Supporting individuals in developing positive coping strategies and resilience
