Role Overview:
As a Senior/Team leader you will support the Service Manager in ensuring smooth service delivery, taking leadership in their absence, and guiding Support Workers in best practices working with individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities as our Senior / Team Leader:
- Assist the Service Manager in maintaining high-quality service and cover in their absence
- Line manage, mentor, and train Support Workers
- Ensure staff rotas are covered and vacancies addressed
- Build relationships with social workers, community teams, and families
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and CQC standards
- Safeguard service users and maintain confidentiality
- Conduct spot checks, quality assurance audits, and update records
- Address support workers’ and service users’ concerns
- Participate in meetings, on-call duties, and ongoing service improvements
