Fosse Childrens Services have permanent work available for Residential Support Workers across the Nottingham area! We are passionate about providing the highest quality care and we are looking for people like you to join our brilliant teams working with Vulnerable Children as a Children\’s Residential Support Worker!

This is an incredibly exciting, new opportunity for someone with at least 6 months experience within a UK Learning Disability/Mental Health setting within the Healthcare or Child/Young Adults setting!

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Using life skills, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference in a Child\’s life. You will meet a variety of individuals, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support
  • Assist Children in all aspects of their Care Needs, physical and emotional
  • Assist in providing attention when needed, whilst maintaining the Child\’s comfort and dignity.
  • Assisting Children who have reduced mobility and ensuring aids provided are used correctly and safely
  • Create positive relationships with the Children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience working within a Learning Disability or Mental Health setting within the Healthcare or Child/Young Adults setting!
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards the children
  • Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
