The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Manager to contribute to our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor with a solid analytical background, developing and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping our BI capabilities from the ground up, fostering a data-driven culture and collaborating with a high-performing team. You will combine analytical expertise with a collaborative approach to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement best practices for data analysis and reporting.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify actionable trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain insightful reports and dashboards.
- Communicate complex data findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Design and develop robust data models and semantic layers.
- Take ownership of BI tools and environments, including setup and optimization.
- Build and maintain critical data pipelines and transformations in collaboration with data engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, reporting, and Business Intelligence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple analytical projects and meet deadlines.
Bonus Points:
- Experience across the modern data stack, including AWS, data warehousing solutions (Redshift, Postgres), ELT tools (Fivetran), and data transformation (dbt).
- Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data solutions, from robust data ingestion and pipeline development to sophisticated data modelling and impactful dashboard creation using tools like QuickSight and Astrato.
- Proficiency in key data programming languages, particularly SQL and Python.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with stakeholders and managing analytical tasks from concept to delivery.
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices, coupled with experience in CI/CD methodologies for data pipelines.
