Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil or Structural Engineering; PEB (Professional Engineers Board) Singapore-recognised qualifications are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in structural design for large-scale and complex building & construction projects in Singapore.
  • Well-versed in Singapore’s Building Control Act, CPF Board regulations and relevant industry codes (e.g., SS codes, BCA guidelines).

Job Description

  • Coordinate, review and consolidate structural drawings to ensure cross-discipline alignment with architectural, MEP and other trade teams.
  • Undertake detailed design and optimisation of complex structural connections and special architectural nodes, ensuring compliance with BCA’s buildability and safety requirements.
  • Oversee coordination of slab thickness, floor levels, and layout of raised/depressed slabs to facilitate building services integration.
  • Design and develop structural reinforcement solutions to accommodate MEP equipment and fit-out works.
  • Manage structural interface coordination for facade, curtain wall and roof systems, and liaison with contractors and sub-consultants.
