Assist to lead the technical and project management delivery of electrical projects.
Assist tender bid for electrical services.
Formalise standards for specifications, drawings, etc. in conjunction with other Team Leaders and Division Leaders.
Keep Team members informed and aware of the latest practices, materials availability, legislative rules and regulations.
Prepare/provide conceptual design/sketches.
Ensure technicality/design documentation work carried out by team members is appropriate and complies with codes and local authority requirements.
Ensure various project submissions are made on time and follow up on comments to obtain approval.
Ensure concept and sketch designs are approved before progressing to the next stage.
Oversee and control efficiency and quality of work produced by the Team members.
Ensure timeliness of production of works carried out by the Team.
Attend client meetings and critical project meetings.
Mentoring junior staff.
Review the detailed electrical calculations report, design, and drawings.
Review presentation slides’ technical/design.
Coordinate with the client, consultant, and contractor on design, construction and submission aspects of projects.
Job Requirements:
- Master or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (Recognised by Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore).
- Must have experience working with an engineering design consultancy firm.
- Min. 6 years’ experience in the design/construction industry.
- Competent knowledge of local practice, i.e. Code of Practice, Standards and local authority submission.
- Knowledge & experience in the process of obtaining TOP/CSC for the projects.
- Good report writing, communication and presentation skills.
