Overview
We are seeking a hard working gardener/groundsperson on a part time or full time basis to join an established team working outdoors at a country house close to Buckingham. Work will include gardening, maintenance and general DIY. Previous experience and/or gardening qualifications preferred, but entry level applicants from school and college leavers are also welcome. Training will be provided, and further qualifications are encouraged.

Duties

  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
  • Regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and weeding
  • Assist in planting, cultivating, and caring for plants, flowers, and shrubs
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
  • Hard and soft landscaping projects
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard

Qualifications

  • Experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques
  • A willingness to work collaboratively in a team
