About The Role
Join Our Dynamic Procurement team at IPL Normanton!
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager – GNFR to become a vital part of our GNFR Procurement Team at our Normanton site. If you are passionate about Procurement and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday – Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pm
Location: Based at IPL Normanton with travel to all Group sites
Contract Type: Permanent
Key responsibilities:
- Build and deliver the strategy for key GNFR categories (packaging, utilities, MHE, waste and services) in line with changing business needs.
- Ensure that the right suppliers are engaged to provide excellent service availability, sustainability and quality at the right total cost to serve.
- Continuously review the sourcing strategy to both provide new, innovative and improved products & suppliers within the category scope, to exceed the expectations of key stakeholders, whilst maintaining a focus on driving cost out.
- Build, implement and manage tenders across key GNFR categories.
- Utilize market analysis and insight tools to identify opportunities, analyse performance and validate decisions.
- Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement.

- Buying experience in packaging/utilities/GNFR with a demonstrable record of implemented cost savings.
