About the Role

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at IPL Inchture! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our Potato site in Inchture. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8pm - 6:30am (Nights)
  • Location: IPL, Inchture - Site Based Role
  • Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operative you will assist in managing the product (Fresh Produce) flow through the line, quality sort and dress out defects, ensuring product specifications are met. You will ensure products are correctly packed and labelled to target in line with company and customer expectations and ensure that you report any defects or poor quality to Line Leader. You will correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards and in the correct orientation within each tray and safely stack trays to a required height.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a manufacturing/pack house/produce background is desirable. You should have good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically and within a team whilst having the ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks and follow instructions. With a ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive approach, you should have an understanding of health and safety policies in the workplace and entry level in both written and spoken English.
