Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at Kober! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts of 6:30am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 10:30pm
- Location: Kober, Cleckheaton - Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Permanent
Please note that Kober operates as a high-care, chilled meat processing facility specialising in the production and packing of bacon.
Your key responsibilities
- Review individual line team’s performance and feed it back to the supervisor/ shift manager.
- Ensure that the correct colleagues are on the line and on time.
- Motivate the line team to ensure teamwork is used so that targets are met.
- Develop and train all members of the team.
- Ensure that all colleagues are treated with dignity in line with company policies, and supporting team members when needed.
- Check tare weights, recognise rejection faults and recognise mean weight issue.
- Use a label applicator following the label procedure, change the date and change the printing ribbon.
