About The Role
Join Our Dynamic Finance Team at IPL Normanton! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Analyst - Finance Central to become a vital part of our Finance Team at our Fresh Produce packing facility in Normanton. If you are passionate about Finance and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Location: IPL Normanton - Hybrid working (2 days per week from home)
- Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead ad-hoc Controllership projects as they arise
- Ensure compliance with the ASDA and IPL financial control framework, seek to identify risks and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare journals to record month-end prepayments, accruals, provisions and payroll liabilities
- As the main point of contact for any Asda cost recharges to the IPL group, ensure costs are recharged accurately and timely and take action to investigate any discrepancies
- Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including the payroll team, commercial finance and Asda finance
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations for your areas; ensuring balances are validated, supported and any reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner
- Support the Treasury function by contributing to the monthly group cash forecasting process and provide key variance analysis and insight
- Support the group to maximize returns on its cash balance and prepare monthly and weekly treasury payments using online banking platforms
