About The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an
Advisor – Supply Chain to be part of the central supply chain - operations team, ensuring all suppliers receive orders in an efficient and timely manner.
Communicate issues and investigate instances that have impacted IPL inbound.
Play a key role in outbound CI initiatives.
Administer the GSCOP process for 3rd party claims for lost stock.
Assist and elevate issues relating to 3rd party storage and logistics providers.
This role will cover all IPL divisions, including IPL Produce, HPF, NDF, Protein, IPL sites, 3rd party suppliers, European direct deliveries.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Retrieve forecast data from Asda Planning systems
- Collation and forward IPL total Business forecasts to Commercial, Logistical teams and 3rd party’s
- Receive and resolve 3rd party forecast and commercial forecast queries
- First point of contact for 3rd party issues relating to product supply
- Support the Operations teams to resolve issues relating to out loading
- Resolve issues relating to delivery issues into customer depots
- Investigate product returns
- Upload Asda sales prices into the Prophet systems
- Set up ordering systems for IPL 3rd party suppliers
- Set up invoicing for the accounts department and suppliers
- Assist 3rd party suppliers with inbound queries
- Assess and process finished goods supplier claims
- Support and guide business unit areas and operations teams for supply chain and systems issues
What are we looking for?
- Strong IT skills – experience in Word/Excel/Access
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role – Logistics/process management
- Use of Material Requirements Planning /ERP System
- Experience in ordering and forecasting systems
- Experience within Inbound reporting & analysis improvement
- Problem Solving skills
- Strong communication skills
