Forza is the leading UK manufacturer of bespoke timber doors and other timber products. With revenue of over £38m our vision is to continue to deliver double digit revenue and profit growth. We are at an exciting stage of the company’s evolution and now is a great time to join the business to help deliver on our growth aspirations. We have a strong business culture that values our team as being the heart of our success.

We’re looking for an Interim Training Manager who can help us build capability across the operation - not just through induction and compliance, but by developing the skills and routines that improve day-to-day performance. This is a hands-on, operational role. You’ll be aligned to the working day and leadership cadence (tier meetings, CI activity, problem solving and supervisor coaching), designing and delivering practical training that reduces errors and rework, strengthens standards, and supports Lean deployment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the operational training system: plan, priorities, governance and records
  • Design and deliver practical, standardised training for operational roles
  • Partner with supervisors and team leaders to identify capability gaps and turn them into targeted training interventions
  • Support onboarding and clear competence sign-off for new starters
  • Create and maintain training materials, standard work and work instructions
  • Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve content and approach
  • Support Lean routines through capability building (within agreed priorities)

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering training in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Strong organisation and record-keeping (skills matrices, attendance, evidence)
  • Confident communicator who can coach, influence and bring people with you
  • A continuous improvement mindset - linking training to performance outcomes

Desirable:

  • Experience in a mature manufacturing environment with an appreciation of “what good looks like”
  • Experience supporting Lean deployment / CI routines (standard work, problem solving, tier cadence)
  • Experience building supervisor/team leader capability

If you’re practical, people-led, and motivated by real operational impact - we’d like to hear from you.
