Student Recruitment and Conversion Marketing Officer

£33,482 – £38,249

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid working (3 days onsite & 2 remote)

Stoke-on-Trent (easily accessible on public transport)

The role supports student recruitment and conversion by improving performance across the full journey from lead to enrolment. You’ll map and optimise customer journeys, coordinate activity across multiple channels, and help drive more effective, joined-up recruitment campaigns. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll use insight, testing and continuous improvement to ensure activity is targeted, evidence-led and aligned to wider institutional goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and improve customer journeys to increase applications and enrolments
  • Coordinate activity across teams to deliver a consistent recruitment approach
  • Track and report performance using CRM and PowerBI, turning data into actions
  • Analyse prospect data to improve targeting, engagement and campaign effectiveness
  • Support delivery of automated, multi-channel campaigns and communications

What you will need:

  • Knowledge of Higher Education and the student recruitment lifecycle
  • Experience mapping and optimising customer journeys across the full enrolment funnel
  • Strong understanding of student recruitment funnels, applicant behaviour and conversion drivers
  • CRM experience or working knowledge, using data to segment audiences and improve performance
