A high-growth consumer connectivity business in Manchester is looking for an experienced Contract Project Manager to take full ownership of delivery across a busy and expanding project portfolio. The business is in a strong growth phase - adding new consumer products and running multiple concurrent internal projects. This is not a coordination role. They need someone who owns their workstreams, drives accountability across the business, and gets things done without needing managing.
What you will be doing:
- Take full ownership of a broad project portfolio spanning new product launches, internal change, and operational improvement.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving, resource-light environment.
- Drive accountability across senior stakeholders - chase actions, hold people to commitments, keep delivery moving.
- Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and senior management team on a day-to-day basis.
What we are looking for:
- Proven strong track record delivering complex projects in a telco, broadband, or connectivity environment β this is essential.
- Experience managing large-scale customer or data migrations β over 100,000 customers, multi-product, multi-system.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and pivoting quickly as priorities shift.
- Formal qualification - PRINCE2, APM or equivalent.
- Not someone who tracks - someone who delivers.
The detail:
- Up to Β£500/day outside IR35.
- Manchester-based - in office aligned to senior management team days, otherwise flexible.
- ASAP start - the project portfolio is live and moving.
- Rolling contract with a genuine route to perm for the right person if interested.
