We’re working with a data‑driven insurance business to hire a Marketing Analyst – App, Digital & Customer. This role is a key hire within the Marketing team, focused on understanding what truly drives profitable, sustainable growth.
This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, attribution, and back‑end revenue insight, with real ownership over how marketing effectiveness is measured and communicated across the business. Marketing performance data currently lives across multiple platforms and touchpoints. This role will bring that together into a single, trusted view of performance, enabling better decisions around channel investment, customer acquisition, value and retention.
You’ll act as the go‑to person for marketing analytics, partnering closely with marketing, data and commercial teams. The key areas covered are:
- Digital performance (GA4, GTM – on site, app and paid channels)
- Attribution (AppsFlyer, cross-platform measurement)
- Data & reporting (Power BI, SQL)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Owning web and performance analytics, ensuring GA4 and GTM are accurate, robust and continuously optimised
- Analysing digital marketing performance across paid channels, with a focus on improving efficiency, conversion and ROI
- Ensuring tracking accuracy across complex web and app journeys, including support for CRO and funnel analysis
- Taking ownership of attribution, understanding how different platforms measure performance and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting the move towards more advanced, LTV‑led attribution and measurement
- Building and maintaining dashboards that provide a clear view of CAC, LTV, ROAS and conversion performance
- Working directly with raw data where needed to improve reporting accuracy and trust in the numbers
- Delivering customer and commercial insight through cohort and segmentation analysis, identifying what drives high‑value customers
- Supporting marketing, pricing and product decisions with actionable, data‑led recommendations
- Analysing CRM and lifecycle performance to identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention and reactivation
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in marketing, digital or growth analytics – covering on‑site, app, digital marketing channels, CRM and customer
- Advanced user of GA4 and GTM
- Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI (or similar)
- Advanced Excel, SQL experience is ideal but not essential
- Delivering performance insights for on‑site, digital channels, and app, along with customer insights
- Proven experience working with Google Ads / Meta measurement, paid media measurement and cross‑platform attribution
- A clear communicator who can translate complex analysis into insight that drives action
- Experience with the following tools (or similar) is of interest (not essential): Bloomreach (knowledge of CRM/segmentation/lifecycle analysis), AppsFlyer (or similar, e.g. Firebase) (app analysis / mobile attribution)
