Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandiser in driving sales, availability, and profitability
- Create and maintain intake and delivery schedules aligned to business targets
- Manage wholesale availability, bookings, and deliveries
- Produce weekly trading reports covering stock, sales, profit, and markdown
- Provide analysis to support trading decisions and influence performance
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support wider business needs
- Raise and ratio purchase orders in line with buy plans
- Manage critical path, ensuring supplier deliveries stay on track
- Own rebuys and core availability to maximise sales opportunities
- Liaise with the warehouse to coordinate bookings and deliveries
- Work cross-functionally with product, sourcing, and operations teams
Requirements & Experience
- Currently a Merchandise Assistant Admin ready to step up or already operating at the Assistant Merchandiser level
- Experience within fashion retail or apparel (own-brand beneficial)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercial mindset with good judgement and decision-making
- Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, proactive attitude and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for product and awareness of trends and market
