Senior Fullstack JavaScript contractor to join a scale-up in Manchester for the next 3 months (and beyond). Outside IR35. 1 day per week in the office in central Manchester (mostly for meeting updates).
Responsibilities
- Work on replatforming the platform to a modern Node/TypeScript/React stack hosted on AWS.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and potentially act in a solution-architecture capacity.
- Assist with building CI/CD pipelines and related cloud infrastructure work (noting that the CTO/lead engineer leads cloud infra).
- Collaborate with the team to use tokenised context from existing platform features as a starting point.
- Engage over the contract with expected go-live timing of 6 months for the new platform.
Qualifications
- Experience as a senior Fullstack JavaScript developer.
- Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Knowledge of AWS; familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD practices is useful.
- Experience in solution architecture is beneficial.
- Experience with Claude or CodeX tools is a plus.
