The Technical Waste Administrator will work within our hazardous waste department to primarily arrange and technically administer the hazardous waste movements in and out of our transfer facility. Taking instruction from a Site Chemist, this position is working as part of a dedicated team. The role is varied and preferably suited to an individual who has strong administration and customer service skills.
Salary: £26,436.00
Main aspects of the role:
- Handling and administering hazardous waste collection requests.
- Preparing documentation & consignment notes for waste collections.
- Overseeing collections / assisting sales.
- Updating & inputting information into specialist IT System (Weighsoft).
- Raising purchase orders and supporting the processing of supplier invoices.
- Supporting the Site Chemist on technical services both on site, and those provided to Forward Waste customers.
- Assisting the Site Chemist to offload & check wastes on site.
- Appraising COSHH, MSDS and Risk Assessments.

- Well organised.
- IT skills - Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work to deadlines & be flexible.
