About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Youth Support Worker Trainer to deliver high-quality training and development to front-line youth support workers across London. This is a flexible role with focused in-person delivery 3–4 days per month, complemented by remote preparation and coaching.
You will be a confident trainer and practitioner, able to bring youth work theory and practice to life, and support professionals to grow in confidence and capability.
What You Will Do
- Deliver engaging, relevant training sessions to youth support workers and related practitioners
- Translate real-world practice into classroom and workshop settings
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to learners
- Contribute to curriculum development and materials that reflect current practice
- Support evaluation and continuous improvement of training provision
Who We Are Looking For
You must hold either:
- A JNC-recognised Youth Work qualification (Level 3 Diploma or Degree) OR
- A Degree in a related field (e.g., Community Development, Social Work) with strong youth work experience
In addition:
- Solid experience of frontline youth work practice
- Proven ability to train, coach, and influence adult learners
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Credible, professional approach with a passion for youth development
