We're looking for a Design Authority to work closely with senior leaders, helping shape strategic transformation by aligning business goals with changes in people, process, data, and technology. You'll develop and maintain high-level models and blueprints that support business strategy and serve as a Technical Design Authority throughout the programme lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with stakeholders to understand business strategy and capability maturity.
- Define target business architectures and roadmaps aligned to strategic goals.
- Lead the development of integrated models across people, processes, and information domains.
- Guide delivery teams by socialising architecture artefacts and ensuring alignment through all phases.
- Participate in governance forums and provide architectural direction and decision support.
- Support business process redesign, transformation, and assurance activities.
- Help build internal architecture capability and support business development efforts.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to business architecture to keep programmes on track.
- Experience delivering architecture in UK Government or Law Enforcement environments.
- Strong consulting background with the ability to deliver at pace.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, design frameworks, and modelling techniques.
- Skilled in developing TOMs, blueprints, and transformation roadmaps.
- Familiar with modern EA patterns and service/system-oriented architecture.
- Proficiency with TOGAF, MODAF, Archimate, BPMN, UML, and EA tools (e.g. MooD, BizzDesign, Enterprise Architect).
Clearance required – Due to the nature of the clients' work, you are required to hold an eDV level security clearance.
