I am excited to be working with an innovative Financial Services business who are expanding their Marketing & Insights team. Forward Role is supporting in search of an enthusiastic and motivated Research & Insight Manager to join the team.
In this influential role, you\βll own and lead market and customer insight initiatives that fuel smarter, customer-first thinking across the business. From designing and running in-depth research to building collaborative partnerships across teams, your work will directly shape propositions, campaigns, and business plans.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of both qualitative and quantitative research projects (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups)
- Develop a deep understanding of customer and adviser needs, behaviours, and motivations
- Proactively identify and analyse external data to uncover industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive insight
- Translate complex findings into actionable reports and recommendations that influence senior stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Proposition, and Commercial teams to ensure insights are embedded in business strategy
- Develop and evolve insight processes to ensure robust, risk-aware delivery across all initiatives
- Mentor and support junior team members to help grow team capability
- Drive a culture of curiosity, learning, and customer understanding across the business
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in leading or managing market/customer research projects
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
- Excellent analytical capabilities β able to extract essential insight from complex data
- Compelling communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing at all levels
- Collaborative mindset and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how insight drives business value
Nice to have:
- Experience within the financial services sector
- Familiarity with marketing and customer strategies in regulated industries
- Degree or professional qualification in marketing, business, or a related field
- Recognised market research qualification
