A well-regarded IT and digital apprenticeship provider is hiring an IT Business Coach to support learners on ICT Level 3 apprenticeship standards. This is a remote-first, one-to-one coaching role — ideal for someone who has come out of an IT or technical support background and wants to use that experience to develop the next generation of tech professionals.

You'll manage your own caseload of apprentices, working closely with employers to shape development plans, track progress, and prepare learners for their end-point assessments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coaching and developing apprentices through the ICT Level 3 standard, covering technical support, troubleshooting, security, infrastructure, and stakeholder communication
  • Working with employers and apprentices to plan projects that meet the standard in full
  • Conducting regular reviews, setting targets, and tracking learner progress on OneFile
  • Preparing learners for EPA — both the professional discussion and practical demonstration
  • Embedding Functional Skills (Maths and English) and statutory topics into coaching sessions
  • Escalating at-risk learners and liaising with the IQA and careers support team
  • Contributing to team best practice and supporting colleagues on the same delivery pathway

What We're Looking For

  • Background in IT, technical support, or ICT — with solid working knowledge across the nine ICT L3 standard competency areas
  • Experience in apprenticeship coaching, assessing, or a similar training delivery role
  • Confident communicator who can engage learners and employers at all levels
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to manage a caseload effectively
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, L4 Teaching, or L3 Assessor Award) — essential
  • L3 IAG (or working towards within first 6 months)
  • Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Degree or 2+ years' industry experience in a relevant technical field

Why Apply?

You'll be joining an established, growing provider with a collaborative coaching team and a flexible remote model. If you've got the technical background and want to transition into a coaching career — or you're already in delivery and looking for a provider that takes quality seriously — this is worth a look.

DBS check required as part of the recruitment process.
