A fast-growing apprenticeship training provider is looking for an experienced AI & Technical Business Coach to join their IT and digital delivery team. This is a predominantly remote, one-to-one coaching role supporting apprentices through Software Development, Data Analysis, and AI-focused apprenticeship standards.
You'll guide learners in applying real AI tools, automation, and data-driven technologies in live business environments — helping them build genuine capability alongside their portfolio evidence and EPA readiness. This isn't a classroom role. It's a coaching position for someone who knows their stuff technically and can translate that into structured, impactful apprenticeship delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering structured coaching across Software Development, Data Analysis, and AI apprenticeship programmes (L3–L7)
- Supporting learners in applying Python, API integrations, data visualisation, generative AI, and automation tools to real workplace challenges
- Conducting progress reviews, professional discussions, and formative assessments aligned to apprenticeship standards and EPA requirements
- Advising employers on how to align apprentice projects with commercial objectives
- Tracking learner progress via OneFile e-portfolio and producing coaching reports and formal reviews
- Working with IQAs and curriculum leads to contribute to quality and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Solid technical background in at least one of: Software Development, Data Analysis, or AI/automation
- Experience in apprenticeship coaching, assessing, or training delivery
- Good understanding of apprenticeship quality frameworks — Ofsted, EPA readiness, accountability framework
- Able to explain technical concepts clearly to learners and non-technical stakeholders
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, L4 Teaching, or L3 Assessor Award) — essential
- L3 IAG (or working towards)
- Degree or 2 years' relevant industry experience alongside appropriate technical certifications
- Functional Skills English and Maths at Level 2 or above
Why Apply?
This is a well-established provider with a strong reputation in IT and digital apprenticeship delivery, a supportive coaching team, and a genuinely flexible remote model. If you're a technically credible coach who wants to deliver cutting-edge content and make a real impact on learners, this is a strong opportunity. DBS check required as part of the recruitment process.
