Forward Role are partnered with a highly respected, long-established B2B wholesale brand that is investing heavily in digital, data and AI. With a new website launching and significant growth in digital activity, they are now looking for a Digital Insights Specialist to take full ownership of digital performance, optimisation and reporting.
This is a high-impact role where you'll turn data into commercial improvements across the full digital ecosystem, from website and SEO to email journeys, paid media and product discovery. As the business scales its digital environment - including a new website, marketing automation, enhanced search, paid activity and community growth - they need a dedicated performance insights expert. Role & Responsibilities:
- Digital Performance Insight & Analysis: Analyse data across website, SEO, email, CRM, paid and organic channels to build a clear picture of what is working, and what isn’t. Identify patterns, trends and opportunities that drive improvements in engagement, conversion, product discovery and lead generation. Act as the go-to performance expert, answering "How is this performing?" with clarity, context and actionable interpretation.
- Turning Insight into Actionable Recommendations: Develop clear, data driven recommendations for optimisation across website UX, journeys, search, email and paid channels. Provide improvement suggestions and prioritised actions for the Digital Lead, Campaigns team, content teams and external agencies. Translate complex data into simple, commercially relevant insights stakeholders can act upon.
- Email, CRM & Customer Journey Insights: Review the performance of email journeys, segmentation, workflows and automation. Surface insights on audience behaviour, drop-off points, engagement drivers and opportunities for lifecycle improvement. Provide recommendations for how journeys can convert better.
- Campaign & Channel Performance Review: Evaluate the effectiveness of digital and paid campaigns. Highlight opportunities to improve targeting, creative, messaging or channel mix based on the data. Help ensure every campaign learns from the last and is grounded in insight.
- Search, Product Discovery & On-Site Behaviour Understanding: Monitor how customers find products, interact with search tools and navigate the website. Identify friction points, content gaps and discovery opportunities. Provide insights that guide optimisations in on-site search, product visibility and merchandising.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Produce clear and compelling dashboards and performance reports. Build a culture of test-and-learn by identifying hypotheses, tracking experiments and reporting outcomes. Ensure digital insights directly inform decision-making across marketing, content, creative and commercial teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience unearthing actionable insights from digital and marketing data
- Good understanding of digital and marketing channels; web, SEO, email, CRM and paid channels
- Success in driving successful recommendations for improvements across website performance, digital journeys or conversion
- Ability to interpret digital data and turn it into meaningful action
- Strong communicator able to simplify technical insight
- Commercially minded, proactive and curious
- B2B experience is desirable but not essential
