We're working with our client, a well-established B2B organisation, who are looking to hire an Events Executive to support the planning and delivery of a varied programme of corporate and internal events across the UK and Northern Ireland. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid end-to-end events experience who enjoys managing multiple stakeholders, suppliers and budgets, while delivering high-quality, well-run events.
The Role
As Events Executive, you'll be responsible for the full event lifecycle – from initial planning through to on-site delivery and post-event reporting. Events include conferences, training forums, learning & development workshops and virtual events. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure every event runs smoothly, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Delivery
- Plan, coordinate and deliver a programme of corporate and internal events
- Create detailed event plans, timelines and schedules
- Promote and communicate events within agreed timescales
- Attend and support events throughout the year, including occasional overnight stays
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements
- Manage external suppliers including venues, production and logistics partners
- Source suitable venues and oversee all logistical arrangements
- Budget, Reporting & Quality
- Manage budgets, negotiate supplier costs and approve invoices
- Track event spend and maintain financial oversight
- Gather feedback, analyse event data and provide insights for continuous improvement
About You
Essential
- 2+ years' experience delivering end-to-end events, ideally within a B2B environment
- Strong organisation, planning and project management skills
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management ability
- Experience managing budgets and working with suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Full, clean driving licence
Desirable
- Marketing background or experience in a sales/marketing environment
- Knowledge of HTML
- Experience within financial services or a regulated industry
