The Role: This is an opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join a growing marketing team and work closely with an experienced Senior Graphic Designer who will provide day-to-day guidance and support. The role offers broad exposure across multiple brands and channels, supporting both digital and print activity. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of high-quality visual assets that align with brand guidelines and support wider marketing objectives. This role suits someone at the early stages of their career who is keen to develop their technical skills and creative confidence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for digital and print, including social media graphics, email campaigns, web assets, presentations and printed marketing materials
- Support senior designers with concept development, artwork production and final delivery
- Apply and follow brand guidelines across multiple brands to ensure visual consistency
- Prepare files for print and digital use, carrying out basic quality checks
- Make amendments and updates to designs based on feedback
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team on campaigns and ongoing projects
- Manage multiple small design tasks while meeting deadlines
- Maintain and organise design files and asset libraries
- Assist with basic image editing, resizing and retouching
- Stay up to date with design tools, trends and software including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree, diploma or equivalent practical experience in graphic design or a related discipline
- 0β3 years' experience in a junior, graduate, freelance, internship or placement-based design role
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and or Figma
- Strong understanding of design fundamentals such as layout, typography, colour and composition
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and apply feedback accurately
- A portfolio demonstrating academic, personal or commercial design work
- Good time management and the ability to work to deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Interest in developing skills in areas such as motion, video editing and AI-supported creative tools is advantageous
