Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Java) | eDV | National Security
Our client is a specialist software consultancy delivering bespoke solutions to complex operational problems for central government. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong Java expertise to join one of their live, security-cleared projects.
The Role
You will join an Agile team building new bespoke software for government customers. Your work will include:
- Designing, developing and testing software solutions
- Working with a wide range of open-source libraries and components
- Building CI pipelines in GitLab to maintain software quality and security
- Deploying to public cloud (AWS and Azure) and private cloud environments
- Contributing across the full software lifecycle, from concept and requirements through to architecture, delivery, training and support
- Leading teams and managing client engagement, depending on experience
Skills and Experience
- Commercial experience with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and React
- Comfortable working with AWS and Azure
- Previous consultancy experience is useful but not essential

Security Clearance
- Active eDV clearance, or the eligibility to obtain it, is required for this role
Rates
- £65,000- £80,000+ (salary range depending on experience)
