The Role

This is a newly created opportunity sitting at the intersection of performance marketing, creative strategy, and AI-enabled content production. The Paid Media Creative Manager will play a key role in shaping how creative performs across paid media channels, helping to build scalable systems that improve testing, output quality, and campaign performance. Working closely with media strategists, designers, videographers, and content creators, the role focuses on developing high-performing ad concepts, improving creative workflows, and driving innovation across multiple digital channels. This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of paid social creative, performance marketing, and storytelling, alongside a passion for emerging AI tools and creative automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Strategy & Campaign Development
    • Translate audience insights, competitor analysis, customer behaviour, and platform trends into compelling creative concepts and messaging angles
    • Develop structured creative testing roadmaps focused on improving paid media performance
    • Brief creative concepts effectively to designers, videographers, copywriters, and wider marketing teams
    • Use campaign and performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation and experimentation
    • Support the development of channel-specific creative strategies across multiple platforms
  • Creative Systems & Workflow Optimisation
    • Build and refine scalable, AI-supported creative workflows
    • Develop briefing templates, testing frameworks, prompt libraries, and production processes
    • Improve creative efficiency, consistency, and speed across paid media output
    • Maintain creative inspiration, research, and asset libraries
    • Establish quality control processes to ensure creative output remains high quality and on brand
  • Paid Media & Channel Expertise
    • Maintain strong knowledge of paid media formats, specifications, and best practices across key digital channels
    • Adapt creative approaches based on platform behaviour and audience engagement patterns
    • Understand the differences in creative structure and storytelling across channels including social, video, display, and connected TV
    • Monitor social trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify new creative opportunities
  • Industry & Team Collaboration
    • Attend industry events, webinars, and training focused on creative performance and innovation
    • Share insights and recommendations with the wider marketing and creative teams
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, design, and production teams to deliver integrated campaigns

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years' experience within paid media, creative strategy, performance marketing, or content-focused roles
  • Strong understanding of paid social creative and performance-led advertising
  • Experience briefing and developing ad creative for video, design, and copy teams
  • Understanding of creative performance principles including hooks, pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement
  • Experience using AI tools to support creative ideation, workflows, or production
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Commercially aware with a data-informed approach to creative decision making
  • Passion for digital creativity, innovation, and emerging marketing trends
