MacGregor Black is currently partnering with an Established Industry Leading Consumer Goods Business seeking a DTC Trading Manager . This is permanent role based in North East England. The DTC Trading Manager will report into the Global Head of DTC and be responsible for leading the regional trading strategy to optimise online sales and profitability. This key position oversees the commercial performance of the website, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product availability, promotions, and customer engagement. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced eCommerce professional with strong commercial acumen and a passion for digital innovation to shape and enhance the customer journey while achieving critical business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the regional trading strategy to drive performance, achieve budgeted sales, and meet profit targets, working collaboratively with stock control teams to manage the online product lifecycle and ensure availability. Lead commercial decisions for the website in alignment with the trading plan to drive commercial success. Plan and lead product range offers and promotions in partnership with the commercial and promotional planning teams. Collaborate with the NPI and Central Data teams to ensure website merchandising aligns with brand standards. Oversee and continuously improve website merchandising, including product rankings, cross-sell/up-sell, and onsite search functionalities. Work closely with the Digital Marketing and CRM Managers to maximise digital channel potential through paid media and CRM experiences. Collaborate with the E-commerce Manager to enhance onsite experiences through optimised user journeys and eCommerce functionality. Take ownership of localisation strategies specific to the region. Manage the budget to ensure that annual targets are set and strategies are in place to meet financial objectives. Produce monthly and annual sales and business reports, delivering detailed analysis of key metrics such as site performance, conversion rates, product sales, and digital channel performance. Oversee the P&L for the region to ensure website profitability. What we’re looking for? A minimum of 4 years’ eCommerce experience in a similar role. An experienced E-commerce Trading Manager with a passion for driving performance, capable of enhancing current eCommerce initiatives and identifying new opportunities for growth.
