A fast-growing business is looking for a Level 2 Network Support Engineer to join their expanding NOC team. Working primarily with Wholesale Partners, you'll be delivering end-to-end managed solutions across Managed LANs, WiFi, and WLAN environments. They're building out a genuinely strong network team and need someone with a solid MSP background, hands-on managed services experience, and a real passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

You'll be the go-to for complex escalations, handling 2nd line support across Managed LAN, WLAN and firewall environments and making sure everything lands within SLA. Working closely with Wholesale Partners, you'll be central to delivering end-to-end managed solutions that keep customers connected and supported.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a network support role, ideally within an MSP environment
  • Demonstrable experience delivering Managed WiFi and Managed Firewall solutions
  • Strong background in Managed LAN environments, including VLANs, switching and routing
  • Solid fundamentals across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching
  • Hands-on firewall administration, preferably with Fortinet products (policy creation, VPN config, IPS management)
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and documentation
  • Strong communication skills, equally comfortable with Wholesale Partners, technical teams, and non-technical customers
Nice to Have:
  • CCNA, FCA, JNCIA-MistAI or CWNA certified, or equivalent
  • Experience with Juniper, Ruckus, Fortinet or Cisco kit
  • Understanding of WAN and connectivity technologies including DIA, Ethernet WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS and VPNs
  • Degree in computer networking, engineering or a related field
Day to day:

Diagnosing and resolving switching, routing, RF and firewall issues, maintaining VPN configurations, and enforcing security policies, all documented properly in the ticketing system and knowledge base. Alongside the reactive work, you'll be running regular health checks and audits across the managed service estate to keep availability high and standards tight. When outages happen, you'll be producing RFO reports, coordinating with suppliers, and keeping customers informed throughout.
