Forward Role are recruiting an experienced HR Advisor for a growing organisation based in Chorley. This is a hands-on, generalist HR role for someone confident advising managers, managing ER cases and supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work as a trusted point of contact and strive to embed best practice, compliance and a positive people culture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing practical HR advice to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters
- Managing complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures and redundancy
- Coaching and supporting managers to drive performance and engagement
- Delivering HR training for managers and team leaders
- Producing HR data, reports and MI for leadership
- Supporting payroll queries and liaising with benefits and pension providers
- Contributing to wellbeing, engagement initiatives and HR projects
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisory role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
- Confident influencing and advising managers at all levels
- Experience using HR systems and producing accurate documentation
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) preferred
