A fast-growing business is looking for a Business Systems & Automation Lead to own how work gets done across the organisation.
The business has scaled quickly, including a recent acquisition that's left systems and processes only partly integrated.
Some ways of working are excellent, some have become too complicated, and too much still relies on individual people remembering how things are done.
This role exists to fix that.
You will work cross-functionally across sales, finance, marketing and operations, mapping processes, running workshops with stakeholders at every level, and building the automations and integrations that actually remove manual work.
What you'll do
- Lead process mapping and workshops across departments to identify inefficiencies
- Design and implement workflow automations and system integrations, independently and with minimal reliance on internal IT
- Own CRM optimisation and integration
- Build reporting and dashboards that give real operational visibility
- Deliver quick wins while building a foundation for longer-term improvement
What you'll need
- Proven track record in business process management, systems or automation, ideally cross-functionally across multiple departments
- Confident running workshops and engaging stakeholders from managers to admin teams
- Technical proficiency including SQL and the ability to implement solutions independently
- Experience with CRM systems
- Comfortable working autonomously and prioritising for measurable outcomes
This is a newly created role for the right person to take full ownership of, with real scope to shape how the business operates as it grows.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days on site in Manchester. This is an initial 6-month contract with an ASAP start.
