Are you a proven marketing leader who thrives on managing and developing high-performing teams? We are recruiting a Group Marketing Manager to lead a multi-brand, multi-site marketing function, with a core focus on people leadership, performance management and strategic oversight.
This role is ideal for a senior marketer whose biggest strength is leading specialists, setting direction, and ensuring each channel delivers against commercial objectives. This is a hybrid role based in Preston, with responsibility for shaping and delivering the group-wide marketing strategy, driving demand generation, and elevating brand presence across multiple businesses.
The Opportunity
You will lead a team of four specialists across PPC, SEO, digital and general marketing activity, owning strategy, budget and performance. With a major focus on digital channels, you will be responsible for driving lead generation, website performance and measurable ROI across the business.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Operations and divisional leadership teams to ensure marketing plans are aligned to commercial goals and growth targets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of four marketing specialists across PPC, SEO, Digital and General Marketing
- Create a high-performance culture with clear objectives, accountability and development plans
- Own and deliver the Group marketing strategy and annual plan
- Full ownership of PPC strategy, budgeting, optimisation and ROI
- Lead SEO strategy across technical, content and on-page optimisation
- Drive website improvement, CRO and analytics (GA4) performance
- Implement and optimise marketing automation and CRM programmes
- Plan and execute integrated multichannel campaigns (search, paid social, email, web, events)
- Establish KPIs, dashboards and clear performance reporting across brands
- Manage agencies and suppliers to maximise value and output
- Maintain brand consistency across multiple sites and business units
- Own Group marketing budgets and reporting, ensuring spend delivers measurable ROI
