Our client is a sport and lifestyle brand growing fast across both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. They're now hiring a Product Merchandising Manager to lead the Womens & Girls category, from strategy through to shelf.
You'll own the full product lifecycle for Womens & Girls - range strategy, consumer segmentation, pricing, forecasting, and sell-in. Working closely with design, marketing, GTM, development and sourcing, you'll shape collections that are commercially strong and true to the brand.
This is a hands-on, commercially-led role based at our client's Liverpool office. You'll balance long-term category planning with the day-to-day detail: pricing architecture, competitor analysis, KPI tracking, and the account plans that drive the wider strategy forward.
What You'll Be Doing
Plan & Position the Range
- Establish product positioning and support senior leadership on short- and long-term category plans in line with wider business direction
- Write key account plans that ladder up to the overarching strategy
- Define consumer profiles and segment the range by target consumer and distribution channel
- Work with design to develop product lines that are commercially viable and true to the brand
Own the Commercials
- Analyse DTC and WHS sales data, consumer behaviour, and seasonal and market trends to spot opportunities and manage product lifecycles
- Implement a pricing architecture in line with the market, benchmarking competitor pricing to maximise sales and profitability
- Provide accurate forecasts by article
- Hit category KPIs: SKU efficiency, margin, article counts and more
Bring the Range to Market
- Present ranges to internal and external stakeholders at sales launch, CAD reviews and pre-lines
- Brief in product needs, including specific retailer requirements and quick-to-market opportunities
- Manage the SMU process
- Prepare materials for sell-in, including trend reports, price lists and catalogues
Cross-Functional Delivery & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing, GTM, design, development and sourcing to bring collections to life
- Keep product information accurate and current across relevant systems
- Track and evaluate key success metrics, feeding back to design regularly

- Both commercially and strategically minded, with a proven track record of delivering brand growth
