Forward Role are currently searching on behalf of a leading luxury womenswear brand in Manchester, who are looking for a Junior Video Editor with a passion for digital storytelling and paid social campaigns. About the Role
You’ll be joining a collaborative creative department, working alongside graphic designers, paid media experts, and external production partners to edit and deliver engaging, high-quality video content. From homepage visuals to thumb-stopping social ads, you’ll help shape the visual identity of standout campaigns across multiple platforms for this luxury retail brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver high-quality, on-brand video content for paid social, digital ads, homepage banners, and web.
- Create optimised video ads for platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, Google PPC, and more.
- Collaborate with creative, retouching, and paid media teams to execute and refine video concepts.
- Adapt and rework footage from external production teams.
- Manage multiple edits and feedback loops efficiently.
- Contribute to ideation and visual storytelling across various channels.
- Assist with light graphic design tasks where needed – static assets, overlays, etc.
Ideal Experience
- 1–3 years’ hands-on experience in video editing (agency or in-house).
- Proficient in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut.
- Bonus: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or interest in graphic design / retouching.
- Understanding of video requirements for different platforms – e.g. aspect ratios, durations, and content styles for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- A keen eye for detail, great communication skills, and confidence working in a hybrid creative/marketing environment.
