Job Overview
High growth ecommerce business based in Yorkshire are looking for a brand new Head of Performance Marketing. This role is responsible for leading and optimising all digital marketing channels including PPC, paid social, Affiliates, SEO, and programmatic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a culture of innovation, testing, and continuous improvement to ensure that marketing efforts are underpinned by data-driven insights, customer-centric thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop the digital marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand awareness.
- Oversee the performance of all digital channels, including paid social, PPC, SEO, affiliates, programmatic, and other emerging platforms.
- Continual improvement and innovation, evaluation and implementation of new channels, tools, and technologies.
- Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure best attribution models are in place.
- Lead relationships with digital and creative agencies.
- Grow and lead a high performing team.
- Leverage analytics, customer insights, and market research to shape strategic direction and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure the customer experience remains at the heart of all campaigns.
Role Requirements:
- Proven track record in Head of Performance within a fast-paced D2C or eCommerce environment.
- Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels including paid social, PPC, affiliates, SEO and programmatic advertising.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and utilise data in decision-making processes.
- Experience managing multi-million-pound marketing budgets and overseeing multiple agency relationships.
- Leadership experience with a history of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.
- Familiarity with marketing technology tools (e.g. Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, advertising platforms, BI dashboards, etc.).
- Strategic thinker capable of aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for testing, learning and scaling new ideas.
- Excellent communicator able to influence internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
