Our client is a market-leading financial services business who are looking to add to their busy Events team to support further growth across the UK and Northern Ireland. Working in a flexible hybrid environment, you’ll work closely with the Events Manager to help deliver a busy range of events during their annual calendar. With a great range of benefits and a genuine career path this is a fantastic opportunity for a well organised Events Executive with minimum two years’ experience.

The Events Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a varied programme of corporate and internal events, including conferences, training forums, learning & development workshops and virtual events. The role manages end‑to‑end event logistics, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure high‑quality delivery across the UK and Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Event Planning & Delivery
    • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and schedules for all assigned events.
    • Ensure events are promoted and communicated within agreed timescales.
    • Attend and support events throughout the year, including overnight stays.
    • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and resourcing needs.
  • Budget & Commercial Management
    • Approve event‑related invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
    • Monitor event spend and maintain financial oversight throughout planning stages.
  • Event Quality, Data & Reporting
    • Manage event data and MI, including attendance numbers, comparative insights, satisfaction scores, and polling/handset results.

Planning and Project Management experience

Full UK driving license

Professional Events/Marketing Qualification

2+ years’ experience of end-to-end event management, ideally in a B2B environment

Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

An understanding of the financial services industry & legislative changes

Previous working experience in a sales-targeted environment
