Forward Role is excited to be supporting in the search for a passionate Digital Insight Analyst to join a high-growth Ecommerce brand. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping digital performance for a thriving, product-led retail business with major growth plans across new product categories, digital marketing, and international markets.
As a Digital Insight Analyst, you will join a newly developed and growing data function. You will be the bridge between data and decision-making – providing deep insights that will shape UX, optimise conversion, and drive digital strategy across ecommerce and marketing.
The role will be predominantly focusing on Web Analytics – digging into ecommerce and website metrics, unearthing actionable insights and driving change. You will also be supporting the Performance Marketing team in understanding campaign effectiveness across different channels.
- Analyse website and customer behaviour data
- Report on key digital metrics including conversion, basket behaviour, checkout flow, and engagement.
- Build customer journey profiles and segment analysis to support strategic planning and conversion improvements.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to help stakeholders monitor performance and spot trends.
- Evaluate the impact of website changes, content updates, and marketing campaigns on performance metrics.
- Support A/B testing initiatives to continuously drive conversion and improvements to the user experience.
- Provide insights that inform trading, design, and content decisions.
- Work closely with teams across Digital, Marketing, and Ecom to define and answer key business questions.
- Present data in a way that is clear and digestible for non-technical audiences.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Web or Digital Analyst (or similar) – you must have experience working with website and digital data, and ideally ecommerce/retail metrics.
- Experience with GA4 is essential.
- Shopify, ContentSquare and Power BI are desirable.
- Experience building reports and dashboards.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and turning them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
