We're proud to be supporting our client, a fast-growing international e-commerce business, as they look to recruit a German and Dutch-speaking Paid Media Executive to join their team. Founded just six years ago, they've already scaled to over 380 employees across 12 locations — and the growth shows absolutely no sign of slowing down!
This is a hands-on, executional role working under the guidance of an experienced Performance Marketing Manager. You'll take ownership of paid advertising campaigns across Germany and the Netherlands, managing activity across Google Ads and Bing while also getting stuck into localisation work — adapting product listings and catalogue content for both markets. You'll be well supported by global digital, creative, and technical teams throughout.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their paid media career in a genuinely international environment, working alongside a team who have built and scaled markets from the ground up.
What the role involves:
- Building and managing Google Ads and Bing campaigns across Search and Shopping
- Conducting keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis
- Writing ad copy in German and Dutch and collaborating with the creative team on assets
- Localising product listings and catalogue content for the German and Dutch markets
- Monitoring campaign performance daily and optimising bids, budgets, targeting, and creatives
- Analysing performance data using Google Ads, GA4, and other tools to identify trends and opportunities
- Ensuring campaign spend aligns with budget targets and KPIs such as CPA and conversion rate
- Collaborating with internal SEO, creative, and web teams to align campaigns with the wider marketing strategy
- Keeping up to date with Google Ads and Bing updates and industry best practices
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads and/or Bing Ads
- Fluent in German, written and spoken
- Business-level proficiency in Dutch as a minimum
- Comfortable working with budgets and towards performance KPIs
- Able to analyse campaign data and make performance-driven decisions
- Proficient across the Google suite
- Degree level education
Nice to have:
- Full fluency in Dutch
- Experience in e-commerce
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Centre and Shopping feeds
- Experience localising content for non-English speaking markets
- SEO experience
- Magento experience
This is a business with a real start-up mentality — they move quickly, back their people, and give them genuine room to grow. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and want to develop your skills on an international stage, this could be a really exciting next step.
