Our client, a Top 200 UK law firm and one of the largest independent firms in the North-West, is looking for a Senior Marketing Events Executive to take ownership of a busy and growing programme of client and business events. They're 100% employee owned, meaning everyone on the team has a genuine stake in the firm's success and a real voice in how things are done.
This is a role for someone ready to take greater ownership of an events programme, whether you're already operating at Senior Executive or Manager level, or you're a strong Events Executive ready to step up.
The role splits roughly:
- 60% planning and delivering a full events programme: seminars, webinars, roundtables, networking, client hospitality and internal events
- 20% driving registrations and attendance through targeted event marketing and delegate communications
- 20% reporting on performance, managing supplier relationships and helping shape new event concepts
What you'll be doing:
- Owning events end to end, from brief and budget through to delivery and post-event evaluation
- Sourcing and managing venues, suppliers, AV and creative partners
- Running webinars and hybrid events, and acting as the key point of contact on the day
- Working closely with Marketing, Digital and Business Development on promotion, data and follow-up
- Keeping delegate and CRM data accurate and well segmented
- Tracking and reporting on registrations, attendance, engagement and ROI
- Spotting new event formats, venues and partnership opportunities, informed by market and competitor insight
What they're looking for:
- Proven experience managing multiple events simultaneously, ideally in a professional services setting
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders, including partners and leadership
- Strong organisational skills and a genuine eye for what makes an event work
- Comfortable owning budgets, suppliers and performance reporting
- A proactive, ideas-driven approach to improving the events programme over time
If you want real ownership of a significant events programme, and a genuine stake in the business behind it, they'd love to hear from you.
