Forward Housing has an exciting opportunity available for a Housing Officer to join our team. This role is home-based with travel. You will join us on a permanent, full-time basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £31,521.10 per annum.

About the role:
- You’ll work closely with the Senior Housing Officer to oversee housing management services for more than 80 properties across England and Scotland.
- This is a home-based role with national reach, supporting tenants, families, carers, and care teams to ensure safe, secure, and well-managed homes.
- Maintain accurate property records and act as the main contact for tenants and care teams.
- Monitor rent accounts, liaising with Housing Benefit teams and resolving issues promptly.
- Support tenants with tenancy responsibilities and new tenancy sign-ups.
- Work with the Repairs team to minimise voids and ensure properties are ready for re-letting.
- Assist with compliance monitoring and service charge budgets.
- Collaborate with finance, care commissioners, and adult social care teams.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Working towards (or willing to complete) a Level 4 CIH qualification.
- Experienced in delivering excellent customer service, especially for people with a learning disability.
- Skilled at building effective stakeholder relationships.
- Enthusiastic, determined, and passionate about housing management.
- Knowledgeable (or keen to learn) about social housing frameworks, especially in Supported Housing and Exempt Accommodation.
