Our client designs, supplies, and installs end-to-end industrial storage, workshop layout, and space-optimization systems and they are currently lookin gto empoy a Site Supervisor Purpose of the Role of Site Supervisor The Site Supervisor is responsible for the safe, compliant, timely and quality delivery of industrial storage, pallet racking, shelving, mezzanine floor, partitioning and warehouse fit- out projects. Health, Safety & Environmental Management Take full responsibility for day-to-day health and safety. Ensure works comply with approved RAMS. Deliver site inductions. Conduct daily site safety inspections. Ensure PPE compliance. Implement permit-to-work systems. Monitor work at height and lifting operations. Manage fire safety and emergency arrangements. Record accidents, incidents and near misses. Stop unsafe work immediately. CDM & Legal Compliance Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations. Implement the Construction Phase Plan. Liaise with Principal Contractors and Clients. Monitor subcontractor compliance. Verify competencies and training. Project Management Manage projects from mobilisation to completion. Review drawings and specifications. Plan labour, materials and plant. Monitor programme and progress. Manage variations and site records. Racking & Storage System Compliance Ensure installations follow drawings and manufacturer requirements. Monitor installation tolerances. Conduct quality inspections. Ensure load notices and signage are installed. Quality Management Carry out quality audits. Maintain photographic records. Manage snagging and close-out actions. Verify completed works against specifications. Site Operations Manage labour and logistics. Coordinate deliveries. Maintain welfare and site security. Communication & Client Relations Act as primary site contact. Communicate progress proactively. Confirm verbal instructions in writing. Documentation & Reporting Complete site diaries, inspections and attendance records. Manage permits and handover documentation. Leadership & Team Management Lead by example. Promote a positive safety culture. Monitor competency and performance. Authority Stop unsafe work immediately. Remove personnel for unsafe behaviour. Reject defective materials and workmanship.
