The Role

Working as part of a busy and experienced workshop team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles. Day-to-day you'll be:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying worn or damaged components
  • Completing inspections and preventative maintenance activities
  • Working closely with other technicians to resolve complex repairs
  • Completing all relevant job cards, paperwork and warranty documentation
  • Maintaining high workshop standards and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Supporting roadside breakdown and emergency repair work when required

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
  • Previous experience working on HGVs and commercial vehicles
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • IRTEC accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
