The Opportunity

Great service departments don't just happen. They rely on organised, customer-focused people who can keep customers informed, workshops productive and vehicles moving through the business efficiently. We're looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy aftersales team in Westbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in managing the customer journey from start to finish. You'll be the key link between customers, technicians and the parts department, ensuring work is completed efficiently while delivering a first-class customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing customer enquiries and ensuring exceptional levels of customer service
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing appointments effectively
  • Maintaining workshop loading and ensuring capacity is utilised efficiently
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the repair and service process
  • Producing accurate job cards, estimates, invoices and supporting documentation
  • Identifying customer requirements and providing accurate costings
  • Explaining completed work clearly and professionally to customers
  • Identifying appropriate aftersales opportunities, including service plans and additional work
  • Producing warranty job cards in line with manufacturer requirements
  • Accurately recording retail, warranty, internal and non-chargeable work
  • Liaising closely with the Parts Department to ensure parts availability
  • Supporting the wider aftersales team to ensure smooth daily operations

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor (minimum one year preferred but not essential)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Previous experience working within an administration or office-based environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Commercial awareness and confidence discussing additional work with customers
  • Experience using Kerridge or similar dealer management systems would be advantageous
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
