The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Welder who takes real pride in producing high-quality work? We're looking for a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team producing bespoke vehicle assemblies. What You'll Be Doing
- Welding mild steel, stainless steel and alloys using both MIG and TIG processes.
- Measuring, cutting, fabricating and finishing welded components to a high standard.
- Producing neat, high-quality welds suitable for visible finished products.
- Using hand and power tools including grinders, circular saws and band saws.
- Maintaining your own tools, equipment and workstation.
- Ensuring work areas remain clean, organised and free from fire hazards.
- Working independently to achieve production deadlines and quality standards.
- Supporting and training colleagues where required.
- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Carrying out any additional duties required to support the wider manufacturing operation.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding (essential).
- Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel and alloys.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on health and safety.
- Their own welding tools.
- Desirable: Coded Welder qualification.
