The Role
Working as part of a busy workshop team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles to the highest standards. Day-to-day you'll be:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on LCVs and vans
- Diagnosing faults and identifying worn or damaged components
- Completing vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Carrying out wheel alignments and tyre fitting
- Working closely with colleagues to plan and complete repairs efficiently
- Maintaining accurate service records and workshop documentation
- Completing job cards and warranty paperwork as required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer and DVSA standards
- Maintaining high workshop housekeeping and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
- Experience carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on LCVs or passenger vehicles
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
