Role Overview: The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that support operational efficiency, cost control and business growth. Working closely with Operations, Projects, Finance, Technology and Stock Control teams, the successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements and ensure goods and services are procured effectively, on time and within budget. This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of technology‑based projects, parking infrastructure deployments and operational activities across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs and increase value. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers. Conduct supplier reviews, performance monitoring and contract evaluations. Source new suppliers and technologies to support business growth and innovation.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Lead supplier negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms. Manage procurement contracts and framework agreements. Monitor supplier compliance against contractual obligations and service levels. Support risk management and business continuity planning through effective supplier management.
  • Operational Procurement: Manage purchasing activities across operational, technical and project requirements. Ensure timely procurement of equipment, technology, consumables and services. Work closely with Stock Control to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Support project teams with procurement planning and delivery schedules.
  • Cost Control & Reporting: Deliver measurable procurement savings and efficiencies. Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for consolidation and cost reduction. Produce procurement reports, KPI dashboards and supplier performance metrics. Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Support sustainability and ethical procurement initiatives. Promote best practice procurement standards throughout the business.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential: Proven experience within a Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer position. Strong supplier negotiation and contract management experience. Demonstrable experience delivering cost savings and procurement improvements. Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience managing multiple suppliers and procurement projects simultaneously. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
  • Desirable: Experience within technology, telecommunications, infrastructure, engineering or facilities management environments. Experience procuring technical equipment, hardware, networking, CCTV or electronic systems. CIPS qualification or working towards MCIPS. Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.
