Our client, the UK’s premier car transporter manufacturer, is recruiting for the role of Paint Sprayer OVERVIEW OF ROLE Working within a team of 4 and reporting to the Paint Shop Supervisor, the Paint sprayer will work as a team by preparing trailers and spraying to customer specification. Applicants should be available to start work at 6.00am on every working day. Overtime is also available at busy periods. THE ROLE • Prepare steelwork for painting using DA sander. • Mastic joints and seams in preparation of paint work. • Sand work between coats. • Spraying vehicles to a high standard. • Ensure that all works coming into and going out of the paint environment are of high standard. • Work as part of team to achieve and maintain excellent throughputs and quality. • Maintain a safe and tidy workshop and surrounding area. • Adhere to health and safety policies and point out immediately to the Paint Shop Controller/Production Manager or HS&E Manager any potential hazards. SKILLS REQUIRED Ability to work well under pressure. A good understanding of processes and procedures. Adaptability to working hours due to the nature of the paint processes.
